Export Declarant Examination

Description

Exam Type: Closed book
Exam Duration: 3.5 hours
Examinations start promptly at 9am. It is essential that you arrive at least 10 minutes prior to advertised start time. If you arrive once the examination has started you will not be able to enter.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is a closed book examination. As NZ Customs entries require a good command of the English language, there is not an option to complete the final examination in Te Reo Maori.

To obtain an Export Declarant Course Certificate you are required to:
• Attend Module 1 and Module 2
• Pass a final examination (80% pass mark)
• Have completed all payments

Successful completion of CBAFF training courses and passing the exam, is not a guarantee of approval by NZ Customs - it is one component of NZ Customs' criteria. NZ Customs will not issue a UUI to persons not actively engaged in the industry as the lodgement of Customs entries require linking users to an employer and clients.

This course is designed as an introduction to the CBAFF Customs UUI course. Anyone who does not have at least 12 months working experience in the New Zealand Customs Broking Industry is strongly recommended to first attend this course before they attempt the UUI Course.
