Description

This Introduction to the Health & Safety at Work Act 2015 has been designed for warehouse staff, from entry-level to shift managers. By completing this course you will learn about:

  • legislative and regulatory requirements, codes of practice or good practice guides;
  • good workplace health and safety practices;
  • industry and/or job-specific requirements relevant to the context of the programme;
  • the importance of occupational health as well as injury prevention.

This course covers the requirements set in Regulation 4.5(3)(a) of the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017. It covers classes 2 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8, along with other regulation topics. It is mandatory for anyone who handles class 6 or 8 substances and is a prerequisite to obtain Certified Handler certification. Certificates are issued upon successful course completion and comes with a 5-year recommended renewal date. Suitable for locations where multiple classes are present.

This training course covers the in-depth requirements set out in Regulation 4.5(3)(a) from the Health and Safety at Work (Hazardous Substances) Regulations 2017. It covers classes 2 and 3, as well as a broad range of other topics contained within the regulations. Certificates are issued upon successful course completion and comes with a 5-year recommended renewal date. Suitable for service stations, hardware retail, commercial kitchens, food preparation facilities, and where LPG is present.
