Dangerous Goods - Endorsement

Anyone who handles or transports any dangerous goods, e.g. fuel and chemicals, by road in New Zealand needs a DG endorsement. The DG endorsement expires every 5 years and you must re-sit a DG assessment, and have it endorsed on your licence.

Description

Am I eligible?

If you have a current New Zealand drivers licence (learners, restricted or full), you are eligible to sit this course.

Can I have this course added to my record of learning?

Yes. The unit standard number is:
  • Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Road US 16718

Please Note - On completion of the course you will receive a course certificate. On its own this certificate is not a licence or endorsement. You must take it to a licensing agent (VTNZ, AA) and have it added to your licence. There is an additional fee for this.
